Yesterday I got to speak on my first panel ever for Say Media during advertising week. I’m sort of new to all this, but not new to talking (been doing that since forevers.)

I was really honored to be on the same panel as the GURU Jane Pratt, the women started Sassy magazine and Jane Magazine, I mean, wow right? She now has a sister style site to ours called xoxojane.com . I was happy about a few things.

1. I didn’t have to wear a dress. I got to wear my red Toms. 

2. Jane was nice, super nice. If one of your idols is mean, it just kills it all.

3. I spoke about how proud I am of the Hellogiggles team and community. We have an online summer camp. COULD I ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE? Maybe a husband or unlimited Babycakes.

4. They treated me to hair and makeup, where I learned I have olive complexion with redness. I can’t tell if that is good or bad. But my whole life I thought I was just pale with freckles. To hear the words “olive complexion” made me feel very exotic.

Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble.

I’m sort of into humans again.
